| 1997 euro e36 m3 hey all, im new to the forum. i currently own a 95 318ti and want to upgrade to a 97 EURO spec m3. Only has 55k miles, beautiful car leather interior with would trim, sport package 5 speed manual, rare green color. My main question is, how good is the stock motor for modding? my goal is to get high HP gains from the car. i dont want a dyno queen or a drag strip car. just want a powerful car that handles great. Do these cars have a high modification capability? or should i look for something else? thanks guys. |

a 97 euro would not have a 5 spd or wood. this also begs the question of how did this car get into the US and how is it registered?

| It could have individual wood trim - fairly common for Euro cars. A 5 speed, though, no.
