i am sick of the following things... feel free to copy and add:

1: mentions of KBB
2: mentions of edmunds
3: complaints from those who never attempt a DIY then complain about price
4: those who beg for help, take no advice, then just argue
5: those who refuse to search, think or look before posting.


you guys can add as needed. i'm far to cranky to read that bullshit. i get nothing from it. i used to feel that by posting answers the OP would get something from my efforts. that's no longer the case.

I think I know the forum and thread your talking about lol. The OP spent a crazy amount of money on simple mods and maintenance and than bashes the shop cause they overcharged him. I told him that in the future he should ask fellow members of the forum for help before spending a couple of hundred dollars for a simple headlight install (crazy I know). But some people you just cant help, very frustrating!

this is almost unheard of in many of the other forums im in. sounds like these people that complain about shop prices can barely afford their car. some people get into things wayyy over their heads. modding an expensive beamer when you're barely making $40k a year is a little steep...

the E36M3 community is unique for sure.. especially in the context of other enthusiast communities....

I'm a broke unemployed recent college grad and I afford mine fine, and its well maintained. Key is to DIY.... labor will KILL you on these cars.

I'm a broke unemployed medical student and afford mine...I was fortunate to pick up a very well-maintained example with low miles ftw. Also I'm posting this because I got a little message saying I hadn't posted and was worried I would get booted. Hi everyone
