I can't see why you would generalise like that, I have seen some of the nicest, cleanest, well looked after E36's from around where I live, riding on nice BBS RM, RS, LM etc rims, sitting nicely, un dented, un-tampered cars...

Also Other models, E30 M3 genuine, M5's etc, plenty going around that have been looked after, it's just unfortunate that 18yr olds get there hands on a 318 and think they're hot stuff with chrome all over, that is a big fail

Some of the most innovative E36 owners I know are Australian, but it seems like they have the same issues with young kids that we do. Being only 18 myself I don't even understand any of my peers with that kind of taste.
