+1 to Ben's post...No need to justify a thing man. I work pretty slow and i'm completely aware of it. I'm not happy with a job unless the car is assembled with factory build quality, or better. Let people brag that they did the job in half the time. After the day you bolt the car back together, it doesn't make a damn bit of difference how long it took you. The quality of assembly is the only thing that matters in the long run.

Two adages to live by:

Haste makes waste.

Good, cheap, fast. Pick two.

Go slow, do quality work. Things will end up better in the end. I've seen some great "internet cars" that obviously were done with too hasty of an effort and the quality showed when you got up close. WBS used to mean hand-built for a reason.

Agreed. I wanted to make sure everything was in place and perfectly sealed back together. The biggest time consumer in this install was the re-assembly of all the hoses and getting everything to fit just right.
