M50 Mani install Q

I am planning to install the M50 mani tomorrow morning and am perplexed by an apparent discrepancy b/n the install guide and the manifold I have.

The small hole pictured below (diretly opposite where the TB bolts on) is for the IAT, I believe, in the OBDI car. Eric's DIY guide has isntructions on how to deal with the IAT...but he mentions that the hole is threaded. The hole in mine is not threaded - it is smooth.

My questions are thus: Is this relaly the hole for the IAT? If not, where does the IAT go, and what is this hole for/what can I use t plug it?
