| S52 Cams in a 325i ??? So I've decided to run an S52 cylinder head on my M50 block, having everything else left as stock... for now, I know, lame for now. Something tells me I should be pairing this swap with a chip update. Is this a step backwards? Am I gonna end up have less performance than I did with the tired "warped"  M50 head I had? Ok, Ok, that last part is just sarcazim. Looking for some advise from the M3 guys or as anyone done this cost effective mod on thier non-M3's?

| So here's another tid bid, when I installed the S52 head on to the M50 block, I seem to recall using the original M50 timing chain tensioner valve/piston. As I read thru some other threads, I'm starting to get the feeling that this was a NoNo  I know for a fact that they are completely different setups ( Thank God for access to ETK ) And this could also explain the amount of rattling & chain noise that I've experienced. Anyone else stubbed their toe on this one? Anyone?
