| E36 M3 Lightweight Rims I need some info on the wheel situation with the M3s. From what I've hear, there is a 1995 edition of the lightweight rims made for the M3 which are the "Real Deal" apparently. Being 7.5 inches wide (7.5x17), these are not staggered and the rear wheels won't be as wide, compared to the 96+ rims (7.5x17 and 8.5x17). I just want to verify if this is true, and if the wheels I am looking at are the real thing. Any additional info would help greatly. Also, would the 7.5x17s in the rear affect performance in any way? How do they look compared to the 8.5s. I just love the way the wide rear wheels look :-) |

| ive actually got a set of these wheels. they were on the car when i bought it. they have BMW Motorsport stamped on the side of the wheel. they are 17x7.5 all the way around. i fit 235/30/17 kumhos all around. if you like i can take a picture. mine are in ok condition, they just need repainting. trying to sell them if anyone wants them.

| First of all, let me thank you for your help and time. I would prefer to stay with OEM wheels, to keep and maintain the originality of the car. I want to save weight, so I'm guessing the second one would be the one to choose? Where would be the best place to get it? What about a wheel and tire package? Thanks!
