| removing headrests is EASY, just yank up. As far as windshield wiper speed, what do you mean... are you talking about possibly installing a new stalk to add different speed settings that are adjustable ? Was that even available on the e36 , i know my e46 has it but on the e36 i dont know. |

| To remove the back seat head rests. 1. Pull down the back seats. 2. Pull out black plastic pins holding the rear dash down. 3. Lift up the dash pull clips and lift. As far as the windshield wiper speed. There is a unit that controls that. You can replace it with an e46s but it is very difficult because you would need to take your entire front dashboard off and steering wheel, replace all wires and lever. If you have a lot of time, have fun and good luck!

| The programming works for my 318i... maybe the prior owner did this mod: e36_euro_wiper_control_module Edit: here is a place in the states that sells that module... LeatherZ: Intermittent Programmable Wiper Module to program: with the car running; switch the wiper from off to intermittent _briefly_ and then turn it back off... wait XX seconds where XX = the number of seconds you want between cycles... (ex: leave it off again for 5 seconds)... then turn it back to the intermittent setting again and enjoy 5 second intermittent wipers. Note: every time the car is turned off; the time resets to the default (8 seconds I think)...
