18x8" Wheels with a 38mm Offset??

I am just wondering if 18x8 wheels with a 38mm offset will fit on my 99 E36 M3. The car is lowered about an inch all the way around. I am also wondering what size tires will fit on them. 225s or 235s. Some one give me some advice. I would like to put some 235/40/18s on there but im not sure if they will rub or not. Let me know. Thanks.

I'm running 18x9s in the back with an offset of 38mm. Theres very minimal rubbing, but only when there are passengers in the back. You should still double check.

should fit no problem our stock rims are 8.5 in and have a 35mm offset so losing the .5 in in width they should tuck up almost as nice as stock rims
