| Did the car get moved, then shut off(Need to let it run for a min once started). These cars foul spark plugs very easy. Was the car setting outside? Did it rain hard while it had been setting. If so, check the DME, cowl drains get stopped up & then the control unit gets wet & goes FUBAR. Try another key, EWS could have lost sinc. Crank or cam sensor. Dme/main relay. Best guess I can come up with. Good luck. Shayne |

| What I am referring to is that these engines do not like to be started & then shut off. IE: pull it out of the garage to get the mower out, then put it back in the garage, don't allow any warm up time & most likely it's not going to want to start, plugs are fouled. The s50/52 is by no means as bad about this as say an s38/88 or m60/62 motor is but still, have seen it happen. Hope you got the M started & all is well. |
