| What is the best oil for my E36?? Hey guys, I have an S50'd 325i. I want to know what is the best oil for the M3 engine. I'm using 15w-40 right now, but I have no idea what is the right oil for this engine. Please let me know, thanks in advance!

| I use 15w50 as well. I run mobil one, but will be going to royal purple. Synthetic are good oils, and take the abuse.

| I always base my grade of oil on the season. Winter I will run 5-30 and summer 15-50 but always Mobil 1. |

| I usually run 15w50 Mobil 1 all year, but I'm switching to 0w40 for the winter
