| i want to know the same thing, but apparently the only way to tell is to rev it up to 6800 and see if it hits the rev limiter. I don't think doing this one time will hurt the car. The dealer can reset your car to stock if you want but its pretty expensive and it seems like a waste |

| Before I put the chip in my E30, I simply seen if it hit the limiter. Doing it once will not hurt. Having a 99 M3, I would guess those use shark injectors. You could always have a friend with a shark inj. reset the factory settings using his shark injector. I could be wrong, but it sounds logical.

![]() Its cool man. I am not sure, there could be other perimeters changed by the flash. If I think of anything, I will let you know.

| So I pegged it out (sort of) to just over 7k...and I felt it kindof get soft....like the ignition was dialing back, but I never let it bang off the limiter....my guess is there was no ecu flash...ill prolly never know till I get a shark programmer and feel the difference...or not ![]()
