Brake Pad lgith on RED

What's up, yaaaaallll. My brake pad light just came on and it's RED, not yellow like book suggest it should when it's time to replace the pads. Anyway, I just got brand new brake pads and rotors about a month or two ago, I don't understand why it would on so soon. Maybe i had bad pads, I don't know, but I am skeptical that I need to change my pads since the light is on RED. Can anyone help me out with this. THANKS peeeeeps.

Did you replace the brake pad sensor?

NO, I think ur right. I didn't change the sensor. I'll have it changed. sweet deal. that makes freaking sense.....big DUH.....thanks man
