You could go surplus tranny shopping, buy a couple good torque converters/shift kit, and get useto doin tranny changes.....they gotta be good for a couple runs or so!

Hewland IGT good for 600lb.ft. buuuuuttt £11,795...or 23743.33...plus fitting and some fabrication issues I imagine.

Xtrac 437....somewheres around 45k

Holinger H6S-SEQ....god only knows

And bear in mind most of these need the shifting mechanisms and the other garbage for it.....but damn that would be nice
