Yeah, it is possible.... but if it won't pass emissions then that's out of the picture...

scott may, what do you mean by "cheaper to get more HP...?" could you explain that to me because I'm pretty sure the 96+ put out at least 40+ more hp than the 95. do you mean that turbos and such are cheaper?

96+ cars don't have 40 more hp than 95 cars.

its true.. the HP difference is negligeable.. but the torque difference is certainly noticeable in basic driving.

one more thing, uh is the hp difference only small due to electronical limitations or just the general design of the engine...?

Maybe he meant boosted they do. Cus the 3.2 engines do make a bit more boosted.

the HP in the 3.2 i limited due (mostly) to the s52/m52 intake. if you swap out an s50/m50 intake you will get a buncch of top end and lose some usablee torque.

in daily driving, i love the torque of the 3.2.. and really don;t need more top end.

my car is a strict DD.. i have other toys to play with.

Fair market value and blue book are two completely different things my friend. just look up the KBB on an E30 M3 than try to find one for that. MY 95 M3's are sought after especially with low mileage and in good condition. I know you said you've had a couple but I don't think you are thinking reasonably. I'll sell you mine for $18k !! 74k on the clock. GOOD LUCK MY FRIEND!
$18,000 for a 13 year old car?!? I don't care how good of condition it's in, that's way too much. $15,000 would be a lot more reasonable. I see '97-'99's going for $18k...
