OBD1 S52

I have a couple of questions and have already searched, However I have yet to find answers that I might be able to use.

I am working on converting to OBD1 before I swap the S52 into my e36, however I need to change harnesses and DMEs because my car is a non-vanos 325. The question is can I use a harness and DME out of a 94-95 325 which has vanos? I know I will need a chip to install in the #413 DME to run the 3.2 who builds a great reliable chip, and what should I expect to pay in programming? And lastly, I know the red label #413 is non-ews, how hard is it to bypass the ews on a silver #413 DME?

In terms of chips for the setup, there are a lot out there, I have been running an AA and have been happy with it.

As for disabling the EWS, all you need to do is cut the EWS wire in the wiring harness.

sure..it would work.

Im on the same project....i have a obd1 non-vanos harness, and obd2that came with the s52.

im just waiting on parts to arrive (harness, DME, chip, HFM)...to revive my car.

I run the Turner Motorsports chip and am very happy. Their customer service is excellent. My friend just put an S52 in his 95 M and he just got the harness' to make the conversion i believe. He is ordering his Turner chip within the next week or so
