Lookin at this 97 m3 any advise?

So ive always been on the look out for an e36 m3..last week i found this one...http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...4000&cardist=2

its located down the street from where i live so i went and checked it out.
it is very clean, what it doesnt mention in the ad is that it is Dinan equiped with the badge, intake, chip and not sure about the exhaust. I started it up and the engine sounds quite and smooth and it extremely clean. It also has an M5 clutch and lightweight flywheel. The only downside is the luxury package..my dream m3 is non-luxury. What do you guys think?

I don't care for the luxury package on the E36 Either. If I where you I would just keep looking.

I have the Luxury edition. I gutted the grill and got regular M3 sideskirts for a steal online. Too many people thought I had a 328 trying to be an M3, which was cool cause they'd underestimate me =) but I got tired of having to prove it was an M3 to the non educated. I like the chrome door handles inside and the motorized & heated seats on both sides. I can do without the wood trim but it's OK.

The front grill has lines instead of black mesh, the interior is wood trim, chrome interior door handles, heated/power seats for driver and passenger, 328 sideskirts, and some extra weight.

the luxury package is crap.

keep looking until you find what you want, or else you'll spend your time/$$$ de-luxing the car.

The color of those seats isn't the greatest. I have an all black interior. My girlfriend enjoys the heated/power passenger seat. Luxury packages aren't really much, but it's no reason to not buy an M3 if it comes with the package.

Don't sweat it, I didn't know I had one until I read up on it.

I have the Lux pkg as well but besides the heavy heated/power (non-vader) seats and a few trims, the power and handle is all the same.
