| Help my car stals at 3700rpm For some reason unknown to me in first gear my car chokes up at about 3700rpm... its wierd... it will just lag up as if i let off the gas, jerks me forward then regains its acceleration, barks its tires and continues accelerating as normal somewhere at 4000+ rpm... Anyone have any idea at wtf is going on? clutch? throttle position sensor? MAF? thanks emanuel      |

| What kind of gas have you been running; and have you changed grades or brands recently or have you seen ethanol content listed on a small itty bitty sticker on the pump lately?

| Crank and camshaft pulse generators...I had the same issue 2 months ago.

| also make sure your resistances for your coils are not out of spec. (.4 to .8 ohms)

| Very odd... How did you diagnose it? Did you just put a new one on, and it went away?

| thats very weird. i would think it might be a misfiring issue with your sparkplugs. in which case you might need to change the valve cover gasket and put in some sparkplug chamber gaskets. if that sounds right. you might of had oil leaks. same thing happened to me. the jerking forward at certain rpm's. however it was like my car shut down if i stepped on the gas to hard
