M3 Buyer's Question

Hey everybody. I need ya'll's opinion on a car.

Its a 1995 M3 with 140K miles, a 5 speed manual, and the guy wants $9,000 for it. What are ya'll's thoughts on this car?

If I got this car, I would set it up to be a pure track car. (Re-build motor, new suspension, strip out interior.......) I might go the forced induction route, or I might leave it NA, who knows....

Any help or advice would be great. Thanks!

95 M3 with 140k is a bit too much. A friend of mine got a 98 with 90k for 12 grand but if thats outta your league then just check the maintenance records and make sure its in good condition. Other than that why not buy it?

Are you still looking at this car? If so....if you want to re-build the engine and/or FI the car, just make sure that the body is on real good shape. ie: No rust, no dents, good solid points inthe car (Shock towers/mounts/etc).

Try asking for less. I got my car for 4k under what the kid was selling it for. You have to let the seller know what they have and what it's worth.
