Regardless what year e36 m3 you get, they all require work to keep running top notch. It won't matter if you get a 1999 or a 1995, they will both need the same amount of BASIC work to keep functioning good.

There are people out there with 95's that have never had a problem, and people out there with 96-99's that are in hell with their cars.


It DEPENDS! You will most likely LOVE whatever year you get, they are all amazing pieces of german work.
