Question Pulleys UUC or Turner Motorsport

I am trying to get a set of under drive pulleys. I don’t know what the crank pulley is and a fan delete mod? People say they are good mods and some people say these mods are bad, which is it? I want some clarity on what I should do and buy. I want something safe, but creates a good gain. So I am looking at the uuc or the turner motorsport pulleys. Got any suggestions?

Dont get a crank pulley as this causes problems if you ever want to have a lightweight flywheel. Accessory pullies, however, are a great modification. There is generally a 6-10 hp gain throughout the rpm range depending on what company manufactures the pulleys. Fan delete is a perfectly safe modification when done correctly. Understeer.com offers everything needed to do the fan delete correctly, including parts and directions. As for choosing between UUC and Turner pulleys, I can't help you there. Someone else who has experience with both brands needs to speak up.

neither, because they are all a waste of money. If you are going to do some, do accessory pullies, but I would go for an exhaust first. Also, you can remove the baffles and resonators from the stock airbox and insert a KN. This works very well.

I've read a lot about pulleys on here and i haven't heard any bad feedback. From what i've read it sounds like rouge engineering or uuc are your best best for accessory pulleys but they also seem to be the most expensive. I'm probably gonna order some uuc pulleys off ebay becuase they are on there for 165.00 consistently for the power steering, waterpump and correct length belt. I love bass and i have a 1400 watt amp in my car so i'm not gonna go with the alternator pulley. anyway just keep doing research on here becuase that is a very popular mod and good luck with your decision.

the fan delete mod is pointless and stupid. DO NOT DO IT ON A STREET DRIVEN CAR.

i really don;t care who has done it and with what results. aux fans fail all the time.. and pusher fans are not for primary cooling. the cooling systems in these cars are fragile and inadequate. removing a crucial component is stupid.

Agreed completely. The extra few horsepower is not worth the potential risks.

i wouldnt do it the gains aren't that great.. just save up and get a light weight flywheel with a lighter stronger clutch, it will do wonders for acceleration!

Couldn't of said it better myself. I also would say no to the crank pulley get a LTW flywheel instead it is a much better mod and you can't do it in conjunction with the Crank pulley. If you want to do accessory pulleys any tuner company will work fine they are all pretty much the same thing.
