M3 vs. Po-Po

I was driving to work this morning. I get about 5 miles from work and traffic is backed way up. Turns out, it snowed last night here in Texas for maybe five minutes and there was a patch of ice at an intersection. Everyone that turned was running off the freaking road, so cops had it blocked down to one lane. After an hour of moving maybe 20 feet, I got through. I started to accelerate and heard my new ECIS intake at a low rumble. Road was wide open, so I hammered it down. I was going pretty fast and then I noticed a cop in the oncoming lane. His lights came on. I said F*** it. I mashed on the brakes and took the next turn. I saw him turn around just as I was turning. He was about 50 yards behind me. I had no idea where I had turned but the road had all kinds of cool twisties. For the first time, I really opened up my car on a curved road. I hugged every turn, tires squealing, and popped back out on a familiar street. I took off down the road, WOT, ECIS roaring. I looked in my rear view and saw the cop come up to the intersection, but I was way too far. He sat that not really knowing which way I had gone. He went the opposite way. At this time, I was 85 in a 30. Brakes... Not really a kill, but I lost his monkey ass. I was an hour late to work too.

I probably would not have run if he was any closer, but by the time he got turned and headed in my direction, I was waaaaaaaaaaayy ahead of him. Probably won't do that again..

lol i did the same thing once before. except, it was about 130 in a 35. that was 2 years ago when i had my porsche. same thing, cop coming opposite direction, and when i blew by him he slammed the brakes, pulled a u-ie and flipped his lights. i saw that in my mirror and jetted down some country back road and hid in someone's driveway next to their house w/ my lights off. he passed me a minute later and continued on. well, i didn't see which way he turned, so i continued on down the way i was originally headed, and not 5 minutes down the road (and i was not speeding...as fast as before that is..) a statie comes the opposite way and does the same damn thing! f*ck!! luckily my turn was coming up, and it was this crazy little back road that if you don't know that well you go 15 mph. he didn't have a chance on that road either, and i never saw him again

when i got to my g/f's house, she's like "why is your heart racing and your face all sweaty?" i was like...uh...no reason!

Won't the cops think something is wrong and call for back up? They would probably think you are running cause you got something to hide!

You Guy Are Funny !!

I had to laugh man you guys are funny. Sometimes the damm cops can be real asses.

I had a incident with a crazy woman driver this summer. I was meeting some insurance adjusters for lunch the woman adjuster was about 25-27 Italian and good looking nice curves. Anyway I was going down this 4 lane road 2 lane each way going south and there a curve in the road to the left and then right. Then there is this stupid woman in a Intrepid I'm in the left lane and she is in the right and I had to move over to turn right at the lights. She see me so she speeding up. I look at her and she is like noway I press on the gas the car accelerates and hugs the roads I then signal and came in her lane and went on the gas harder. I dont know what was her problem as I was on the gas changing the lane and also pulling away all the time.
I'm at the light to turn right she comes up my ass and then start blowing her horn looking all upset. I turned right slide out in 1st laying rubber and then took 2nd to 7000 then had to stop for traffic. Some how she ends up beside me and want to cut me off. The cars went in my lane first and then I sit there for a while I wind down my windows its tinted dark and then smiled and then gave her the finger and drove off quickly. She was pissed when I did that I can see her trying to follow behind me and I quickly turned right from the middle lane. She then had to slow down to turn right and catch up.
I drove around to the place I was meeting the adjusters and some how she ended up behind me all of a sudden I stop in the middle of the parking lot for a min and then looking in the rear view mirrow she is locking the doors and then getting on the cell phone. I went to park in front of the restaurant and then she parks in her car about 5 cars away on her cell phone while she is yapping away she is looking back at me and then yapping away. As soon as she looked away I took off and took some fast left and right and then parked in the rear of a office lot for 5 mins. I did not see her and then went back to my office to go get my coworker winstar I figured the dump bitch was going to scratch up my car if I went in the restaurant. All my coworkers were laughing at me What you are afraid of a woman driver. Ha Ha..

Mannn, since when do cops not call for backup when they are chasing you??

Maybe not in your town but where i live cops call for backup automatically and every cop responds in every area and is on the lookout for the car. Also, dont the cop catch your license plate??

I wouldnt dare running from the cops even if i had a fast car because the traffic is really bad where i live, you would never be able to run from the cops for more then 3 blocks without hitting someone or something.

in PA we don't have tags on the front of our cars. secondly, if a cop is right on your butt, an inch off your bumper, with his lights on and you refuse to pull over, that's when backup gets called in. if you ditch a police officer before he makes it absolutely certain he's after you, then just about all he can do is look for you, or alert other police officers in the area to keep an eye out for you. that's basically what happened to me.

Cops can catch you if they are close enough to read your plates, if you have a good amount of space from him , like atleast 40 yards then it is very possible to ditch them. I have lost cops in my 4-runner so I know it is possible. just make a bunch of quick turns and park, thats all.
oh yeah , get out the car and walk away.
I've done it with a few cars(4) in my earlyer years but now I will just pull over.
