| These were confirmed by people who own both pre-96 and post 96 cars. I have no way of finding out if it's true or not but if you do a search, I am sure you wouldn't be surprised to find most of the A/C related problems were on post 96' cars. Jon Quote:

| hey, if you look for something negative, you can always find something wrong with any car. Its all up to you, what are you looking for. Original question of this thread was (95 E36 M3 climate control upgrade), if its possible to install digital climate control, and how difficult it is to do it.

| I hate to say this, but I need to do this conversion. I got all the parts to do the conversion for a lot less (1/2) than it was to replace my heater core. I got the heater core w/harness, control unit, coolant valve in engine bay, small motor solenoid for vent? CHris

![]() it's always the first thing people notice when they jump into your car, the system was designed 8 years ago and it's still more impressive than 90% of the climate controls in most cars today. More orange lights, displays, buttons, etc.. it's pimp. ![]()

| All you need is the comeplete heater core with wire harness and control unit. I just tested it and it works, and it is just plug and play.
