ok well i took the plunge and went to town on my rocker panels with the purple SUPERCLEAN and wow...there really is paint under there! was pretty easy, just some scrubbing, spraying, more scrubbing, more spraying...
looks great.
attacked the front bumper after taking it off the car.... primed with black primer then TRIED to paint it gloss black but im thinking the 110+ texas heat screwed up the paint, so i just nailed the bottom section with black "trim paint"
i actually like the look of it, matte finish, mild texture, looks OEM except now its black. im too cheap/poor to get it professionally painted so this will have to do for now.
will attack the rear bumper tommorrow, started raining here shortly after i got the front back on...

gotta get that back bumper done tommorrow! next is tint and fixing the trims around the windows...
