I have done some searching for a pic and it seems noone has the same radio as me, I doubt it would have been replaced because it is too shit, why would anyone replace it with something worse? I am considering brute force, it doesnt seem to be in there too solid, it has some play in it. ![]() Last edited by Yankie; 08-12-2009 at 04:54 AM.. Reason: Adding picture

I got out out, brute force won over, so the radio is fucked, but I salvaged the antenna input plug so I didn't have to buy an adapter. New head unit is in, was a very tight fit, but its great, it was the final part of making my interior blue, there is no longer any orange left in my car ![]()

nah the best for getting them off is to slide two thin flat head screw drivers into the holes on each side pushing the tops of the screwdrivers towards each other while pulling them out....and a little brute force...sorry i diddnt see this thread earlier might of been of more assistance then.....what head unit are you throwing in, in its place???

Just a cheapo ebay job, Vortex I think its called, plays CD's, DVD's (on a somewhat small screen) Aux in and USB in. Was $200 Aud, so not bad really. Its running 2 6" in the foot wells and 2 6x9"s powered by 70W rms each, and a 12" sub in the boot running off a 300W rms amp.
