hmm i would have to say so an intake and exhaust for starters. Did that to an integra and it screwed. If you really wanted to get daring (although pretty costly) I would have to say swap in an m50. Not too sure if the trans. would bolt up though. I would do some research on that one. But doing an intake and exhaust would probably be the cheapest and easiest thing to do. I know a cheap little cone filter that helped me win a couple of races.

go on youtube and find the sound that you want for your exhaust. im saving up for a nice Dinan freeflow exhaust. it is pricey but thats the sound that i like. a lot of people like the uuc exhaust though. if you want to make your car quicker i would say look into getting a limited slip differential with a lower gearing than the differential you currently have. lower=faster accel. lower top end higher=more top end slower accel. they arent badly priced. check bimmerworld.com

my friend has a 2004 chevy colorado extended cab with a 3.5 inline 5 and he absolutely kicked my ass...if i would have some low end torque then i might be able to keep up with him off the line...that swhere he gets his advantage...but those I5's have torque out the ass for a motor of that size........i think hes puttin out like 240 horse and i put out like 140 so hes got me.
