| Well i'd steer away from Motegi rims, BMW is all about form and function and Germany is know for the quality and efficiency. Putting Japan (ricer) on Germany (performace) is asking for alot... i'd choose BBS, Kenesis, Hartge, or Ac Schnitzer for rims, and Dunlop for tyres anything in th Sp Sport line should do (since those are actually made in germany).

| Problem frank? BMW is not about being Baller or whatever you kids call it these days... if you want to cruise like a rap star buy some ridiculously big SUV and but 44 inch tyres on it with some hideous chrome rims. it's just not what BMW is about

| You assume I’m a kid and you assume I want to be a “baller”. It’s not your car so really the op or anyone else can do whatever the hell they want to do with it, but to address the real issue. Going by your statement German rims are superior to Japanese rims? Explain to me what the difference is between a rim made in Germany vs one made in Japan or any other country for that matter? |

![]() My track rims are Japanese. Come to think of it they all have been. So have most of my tires. Honestly for the price of any of the German rims listed he could buy a new car.

| no not all jap rims suck. but some do. ROTA suck. used to be good but not anymore. I just have that uncomfortable feeling putting anything that isnt bmw on my bmw that wasn't made to be on a bmw. all i can say is if the rims look good to you then put em on. its your car do what you want, we just give advice. |

| Those Rota's also are running race tires which puts exponentially more stress on the rim. For that matter, I can find tons of rim failures HRE Banned from Porsche and Viper Driving events http//forums.audiworld.com/lrqc/msgs/41036.phtml Oh and here is a nice pic of your beloved Kinesis Rims. I am sure the Viper owner of these rims was glad that he bought the most expensive highest quality rim he could. ![]() ![]() For what the OP is using the rims for whatever rim he chooses will do more then fine. You know that any automotive part has DOT standards it has to meet to be sold in the states.

| m3 engine will be to xspensive i had a 318i if u swap that engine with m3 you will need to swap transsmission and rear end , as well as ecu and drive train, yours will not hold up, so your best bet is turbo it , mossleman has one or downing supercharger, i done the air intake , exhaust, chip upgrade , port n polish on engine it still will get smoked by 325 or 328, add rims stereo, body kit racing seats you r back to where you started,
