I think a 9 inch rim will be okay for you. Just make sure that you run a 225 on it.

i just installed asa 18x8's in the front an 18x9's in the rear no problem.... but with full race suspension you will need wheel spaces tho an depending on the ride hight you set it at possible rolling up the inside of the fenders or fender flares!

ps without the wheel spacers even on stock suspension turning to the extreme right or left with cause the tire to rub on the inside of the rocker panel!!!

cmoubell, i have this same exact problem. Im running 18 x 8.5's on 235/45 tyres and when i give more than 2 full locks either directions scrubbing happens. Im planning to put in the Bilstein/Hr Shock/Spring combo giving a 2inch drop on the front. My question is, how many mm spacers am i going to need?? any tips to make this all fit?

should do the trick!

you'll need at the very least 12 mm spacers!

that should work alright with most aftermarket suspensions!

as long as u dont have fiber glass drift fenders like me, modifying your metal fenders isn't too hard of a fix if they rubb!

fender flares or a widebody kit will look even better if you have the scrilla for it tho !

PS make sure you get proper wheel spacers, if you need hub-centric or non-hub centric ones! it will depend on the rim you have! good luck!

i have 18x8.5 with 255/40/18 tires in the back that only needed a little fender rolling and they look and handle great.

How much lower are we talking? 1/2 inch or 2 inches from left to right? Also, when you replaced the front struts, did you replace the strut mounts too or did you reuse the old ones? And finally, it could be that one of the srings isn't sitting in it's "notch" on the strut, this is assuming that there not coilover's, correct?

Before i lowered my car, I just found that my right front and rear wheels are more lowered than the left front and rear wheels. That's why i put H&R Race spring 2.0 inches on the front and 1.3 inches on rear. All springs are brand new and the Struts & shocks are brand new and i replace my strut mount too. I thought if i replace everything my wheel gap from left to right will get even, but its still the same, nothing change, still uneven gap. Could you help me out with this, THANKS A LOT
