Supersprint Exhaust System - Worth it?

Hi,

I've been looking at the supersprint exhaust system for the 325i. In Australia it cost $3,056 for just the parts. In guessing with labour it would be $3300. I want to spend some money on my car. But is this over the top for an extra 20hp?

With that I can get a GruppeM Ram Intake system for $1000

This place also does a performance tune for $1100

Just need someone with experiance to tell me what hp/torque increase this will offer. What will happen to my fuel consumption. And will there be more wear on the engine?

20hp? I don't think it'll get you 20hp unless you have a huge turbo feeding air into your engine.

Have you already upgraded the differential? I'd say that would be the most noticeable performance upgrade.

Yes. They made DTM stuff, if you can get the DTM race stuff.

If you are considering spending $3Gs on some pipes, you might as well spend it on a used FI system. But if you don't want to go that route try Cams & software in the engine where it counts. Just my $0.02

Which supersprint system are you looking for?
For your car there is a header, Group N catalytics with front exhaust and a rear xxhaust.
Price in germany for me 2500Euro.
