Was in an accident with the curb.

Was going 40 and i saw something in the middle of the road so i swerve to the right and then notice the curb then move my wheel to the left as fast as i can the back passenger wheel hit the curb HARD!!!!!Then the passenger side airbag deployed...... the wheel is bent in sideways the car when i turn it into drive the car wont move or anything...all you hear is click clak and stuff

can someone tell me why teh transmission isnt responding??

What do you mean - isn't responding. As in you can't get the vehicle into gear? Is it an automatic or manual transmission?

Probably like when my e21 folded in the back wheel, it broke the cv's.... therefore constant spinning shaft... therefore no drive.

Either that or you've broken the shaft/diff altogether.

I posted a reply to your other thread.

Judging from your description on this thread and the photos on the other one, I'm 99% positive that the reason it isn't moving is because your passenger-side outer CV joint is totally destroyed.

This happened to me late last year.

You will need...

- New rear lower control arm
- New rear half shaft
- New CV joint

Your rear subframe will almost definately be slightly distorted or bent; you'd want to get this straightened but its quite expensive and not needed to be able to drive the car again. But on the limit, the car will be less stable than before.
