suspension opinions please

so i have 18inch BBS wheels and i haven't rolled my fenders (nor do i plan to) and a buddy of mine has eibach sportlines that he's selling for $100. i was thinking initially about getting eibach coilovers but this seems like a much cheaper and reasonable option. the only problem i'm having is choosing a strut to accompany the springs. the sportlines already drop it 1.8 and 1.4 and i don't want to be rubbing my tires. has anyone used the sportlines? i'm not wanting to race my car. it's only going to be a daily driver (although it might see and occasional sideways corner on a rainy day). i want something that will give me as much as a smooth ride as possible, but not rub the tires at the same time.

eventually though, i'm going to drop down to 17's. i think the 18's are just a little too big for my taste. but that will be a while down the road. any opinions and suggestions would be very helpful and appriciated.

I have the same problem i have m3 18' wheels and when i hit a bump a sertain way my back tires also rub.
