New Depo's!!

Sorry for all the new threads, but I've searched to no avail! I got my new Depo's today. Was going to install them; got driver side headlight assembly out, unplugged everything, went to install new light, doesn't fit easily! I think I can remove the nose panel to make installation easier, but I absolutely cannot get them in and lined up properly with that in. It's either remove that or the whole radiator support. Easier for the nose panel. Anybody experience this? Opinions? Got the 6000k HIDs too, with angel eyes. But I did get them hooked up outside of the car cause I was too damn anxious to see how they looked. AWESOME!! Amazing light clarity. Bright as hell. Love 'em except for the fit factor. The other plug just dangles pretty much right? For the low beams? B/c I hooked the ballast to the low beam and the PNP adapter to the high beam and only had the gray wire left. That goes to the corner I know but is that the only wire? Just one? On each side of course. The other harness with the tiny small plugs is unused right? Do I need that? Besides that no relays or anything, just connect and done? Thanks!

I've also got the 35 watt ballasts, wondering if I could at any time upgrade to the 50 or 55 watt ballasts with the h7 6000k? And it's probably a good idea to step up the amperage on the fuse too right? from 5 to 10 or 20? Do I also need to step up the fuse for the parking lights? Thanks.

Give me pics of where you think the problem lies, and ill try to clarify. Usually headlight install is super straight forward, too bad I couldnt just drive over and show you how its done

yeah, that'd help too! When I first got the lights, I thought to myself, man these things are big! Then I tried to install em and it looked like everything lined up okay, just too big to fit into the hole with the nose panel on because of the back of the housing.

Well, I bought them from eBay. A friend of mine bought some from this guy too and they looked great! So I found him and checked his feedback thoroughly, he has a lot of high end items that sell for upwards of $700, and with like 2000 feedbacks; so I felt comfortable with buying from him all things considered. The guy's eBay name is fishcake 321. The HID kit was pre-installed. Yeah, mine have glass lenses too, like em a lot! I actually just got in from installing the driver side. Sort-of a pain in the ass getting to those damn nose panel bolts at the fender. But one side is in and working great. Fitment is great besides getting them by the panel. Bolts up perfect. Hope that helped you out, will post pics when done.

Anybody know which know controls vertical alignment on the Depo's? I know there are two and I don't wanna go just twistin' on them until I know which is which just so I feel better. I got them in, fit nicely, passenger side went right in, driver side was a pain in the ass. I have to align them tomorrow night so if anybody knows, please share! Thanks

look around Pelican Parts - Porsche Parts & BMW Parts - Automotive Parts and Accessories - Porsche & BMW
there is alot of good info in their tech articles.
I'd explain the location in a little more detail, but im half drunk and info will flow less than clearly
(look for holes in the back that would accomidate an allen wrench...its the innermost one for low beam height adjust)
