replacement fuses

Hello, I just recently bought a 1994 325is I noticed that some of the fuses have been replaced with the standard blade style fuse, is this a viable option?

I have checked a few of the auto parts stores in my area and they do not have the stock BMW style, are they a dealer only part?

The blade style fuse is okay. They're fine to use. Essentially the same thing, just the BMW ones have an open top. I had to get a couple new relays and could only find them from a dealer, so I would say the fuses are dealer items as well.

yeah the originals are blade fuses to..they just look different, as long as they are the correct amps all is well my friend!

thank you all I have been searching high and low for these things, glad to hear the standard blade fuses will work
