e36 cold air intake question, please help

guys i just bought a cold air intake for my 98 328is, does anyone know where i can find pics of one being installed, very hard to get in, does the filter go in the open hole on the left side of the car, if anyone has pics or any help, please email me at tony325cibmw@yahoo.com
