Your opinion please :)

As I mentioned previously in another post, I purchased a retro-fit kit for my stock headlights, not realizing the issues with doing this. Since joining the forum I have already learned alot. I plan on buying projector headlights this summer. I am either going to go with the euro lights from bav auto, or the hella euro lights with angel eyes from turnermotorsport.

I have a 96 hellrot 328i vert, with vaders and a blacked out grill, and an m3 rear spoiler. I also have eyebrows I am waiting to install.

My question is this:

Given my current set up, would it look better to go with the angel eyes, or straight up euros. Just the euros is cheaper, but the hella lights look to be very high quality which I like. I guess i'm just afraid with the eyebrows and the angel eyes the front would look too busy or something.

I know to each his own, but i'd like to hear some input on this.


In addition (sorry for the rambling) if I buy the hella lights with angel eyes, how do i turn the eyes on and off?

I'm not a big fan of the angel eyes. I'd just get the projectors.

Hella, ZKW, and Bosch have all made OEM e36 headlights.

yeah I am leaning away from angel eyes, especially considering I will be putting on eyebrows.... might just be too much.

I have heard ZKW and Bosch and Hella are the best... but where is the best place to buy each?

Also, do you, or anyone else for that matter, know what brand the lights are the bavauto sells?? it doesnt say on the product page.

I took a quick look at the Bavarian Auto page. It looks to me like those are ZKW's pictures, but I'm not 100% sure. I'd give them a call and ask who makes them.

dont know if its too late but i would say angel eyes, but im just a really big fan of them. get colored halos as daytime running lights looks really sweet. just my 2cents
