Which M3 E36 is better, the s50 or s52?

Ok guyz, i need to know if you gonna supercharged a M3 E36, which would you choose to work with?

I hear s50 is better, but all the chassis refinements and little things were changed/upgraded on the last years of e36.....so find a 99 with the s50 intake and euro afm?

could always swap an s50 in to a 99 chassis and super it.

yuppers.....I think ill just s/c my b32 and call it good. Or maybe turbo with no more than 8psi.....keepin the stock internals for a while

Remenber to check your subframe while you have it up in a lift. The fixes for the cracking issue weren't implimented unlill the last years of e36. But if you strip out the rear drive/suspension system, you can weld in the supports yourself.

The s50 has an all steel block, and the s52 is part aluminium (at least euro spec cars, I am in Europe). A mechanic from a bmw dealer told that the s50 has proven to be a more durable motor, more solidly built, so i guess its better to go with that one for supercharging...

Which technically isn't road legal and should never pass inspection since your VIN says you should have an OBDII car and your motor is now an OBDI motor...
