| can a v8 engine fit in a e36??? can a v8 engine fit in a e36???.....is it possible??......like a 540i engine??.....or would i better off putting a turbo or something??...iam trying too make my 323is go 0-60 in about 4.5 seconds... it has about 150,000 miles on it....i do not want to sell it or anything. i was thinking about doing an m3 engine swap....but then i thought if its possible too put a v8 in there.......some help please! |

| Please, dont do that to a E36 lol. You can get it to do those numbers without a V8. The LS1 is a good motor, it just has no place in a Bimmer. A S50 or a M50 can certainally do that time. If you MUST go V8, keep it BMW lol. A 540 would be a great swap.

| I think you can fit a v8 in there by using quite a few of the Alpina parts, after all they did it. Not sure on costs, we have a few over here, but its certainly not a common upgrade. |
