| IS this car boosted? I saw this video on youtube of a 328I doing so drifintg, the guys pretty good but I just wanted to know if it was possible to tell what, (if any) modifications have been done. And I couldn't see if it was manual or automatic but it looked like he had both his hands on the steering wheel the whole time(Except when he used the e-brake). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dw7Xewwn5VI      |

| at first, i would have said no it's not boosted, but it looks like he was just warming up, that or he's a horrible drifter. The shot that makes me say its probably boosted is the dead stop burnout that put out a lot of smoke. If i had to guess -- and this is a guess, I would say its probably a boosted automatic.

| hmm does look a bit like a manual knob... jus coz u dont see him change gears doesnt mean he isn manual.... i just think i was easier for him to stay in same gear round the corners... its what i do and it seems to work.... otherwise u end up in some errr.... interesting places when your wheel speed changes sudenly mid corner... like when i used to take my 4x4 out... and end up in creeks, paddocks, bushes... fences, star pickets... but it taught me to drive so its all good! And the driving instructors at most driver ed centres reccomend the practice!

| oh and yeah Dado grew up racing so hes got good car control... that kid seemed pretty good though!

| Its a manual you get a look at the top of the shift knob around 2min 30sec. I don't think its boosted though, doesnt sound like it, if it is it definately doesnt have an intercooler.... cool vid
