SR20DET conversion

Hi, i have a E36 318i and i really wanted for more power but wanted to stay away from BMW engines so i found my donor which is a Nissan 200SX with SR20DET. Now has any body done this conversion if so pls help, i need to know what obstacles i'm going to face as I’m doing it all by my self.

Thanx in advance...

Hope you never plan on selling it because one of your potential problems is resale.

Yeah, I don't see someone buying a BMW with a Nissan motor in it. Just stick with the BMW engines. Sure they are a little more pricey when things break but they are a hell of alot better than Nissan

^^ Yeah considering I haven't seen a single 240 with JUST an SR20DET swap run anything lower than 14's. Mind you my car is still NA and now that I got my TMS/Conforti chip in I'd love to see him run with me. Oh and by the way like NSM said, "cool first post", jackass
