| your not missing much with the cup holders there in the center console the one closest to the shifter looks like its for a mug and it will only fit a mug and the one behind it is covered by the arm rest so you cant have a cup and rest your arm at the same time plus the second one is so far back it can be hard to reach depending on how tall or short you are. that realy sucks that the steering wheel doesnt tilt i guess you cant have everything (although it would be nice ) on a side not after like a month delay my new headlights and angel eyes will be here in a week finaly! cant wait to get them on as well as my new clutch. |

| Eh, I swapped out my center console for a '95 to get rid of both the useless cupholders and the inconvenient arm rest. The cupholders get in the way of shifting (unless you like knocking your drink over every time you try to shift) and don't really hold anything very well. And maybe it's because I'm short, but I kept having to flip the armrest up to get it out of my way when I wanted to drive hard. And then it'd squeak like mad. So I ripped all that garbage out and went to the simple tray design of the '95 console. Now I have a place to put my phone, sunglasses, etc. Besides...you're supposed to be driving with both hands on the wheel, so when do you use an armrest, anyway? And yes, I believe that tilt steering wasn't available here in the US. You can retrofit it, but it's not easy and probably not worth the effort. |
