As promised! Remus = German for Rusts (pics)

No good.

As you can see, the tips aren't so chrome these days. Actually, no idea what they resemble anymore.

I tried to get pictures of the baffles (the pipes that stick out inside if you look down the exhaust tips) those welds have rusted away as well and they're just shaking away inside there.

The back welds of the exhaust are easier to see, I was pretty amazed to see that the pipes (or welds at least.. as the pipes appear to go fairly far into the muffler) have come OUT of the rear section of the muffler.

No good. Wish I could get a refund or something, but it came on the car so I can't complain (don't like the tip design anyways. At all.)

what (edit)year should that exhaust be from..?? cause you hear that Remus "resolved"" that notorious rusting issue.

Nah I didn't hear that, but it's an issue that shouldn't have happened in the first place.

I just posted it because someone didn't believe all the talk about remus systems rusting and figured it was just a bunch of rumors or something.

I take it "resolving" the issues didn't mean giving people new exhaust systems?

It was resolved. No more rusting for the newer models. And newer Remus models come with a guarantee against rust or complications or refund/new system.

Sucks for people who paid the exact same amount BEFORE the "guarantee" and I haven't heard any reports of people getting new exhaust systems.
