When you wonder - on a daily basis - how the same engineers that designed and built the ultimate driving machine can also be responsible for cup holders that can't hold onto any travel cup with a lid.

When you havn't taken a beverage (even the much needed morning coffee) with you in the car in _years_ because of the cup holders.

When you use the cup holder as the perfect cradle for your cell phone, ipod, garmin gps reciever, ear bud, spare change, wallet, parkway toll, recipts, shopping lists, etc... anything but your standard issue beverage holding container.

I Facking hate that forum but I NEED them. Makes me want to sell my Benz and get a Civic for a commuter instead....

Lmao, that shift knob thing freeked me out. was in my 95 325i(sold) driving home on the tollway, pissed at my brother, so im slamming the gears hard, and leaving the toll booth i slam 2nd and the fucking thing pops out. i was like...whao wtf! i was too pissed to let anyone know what just happened, so i just pushed it back down and kept ramming gears.
