| Possible exhaust leak question
Sometimes when I start up my 95 M3 i get a very faint exhaust smell that lasts until i begin moving, and a couple times i have smelled it when traveling down the hwy at 60+ MPH (although very very faint, and doesnt last long) Sometimes i think its just my imagination. I dont have any CELs and ive had the car inspected twice since ive got it about a week ago, it also just recently passed its annual state inspection (no one said a things abiut a bad exhaust). Is there any way i can tell for sure besides the smell? Does an exhaust leak trigger a CEL? thanks fellas.
