major problem with e36 convertible

there is a lever under the seat of my 94 325ic and when i pulled it nothing happened.. but when i tried to let the top down it was like the vert motor was not on ... ive tried everything and i cannot get the motor back to working ... any help .. thanx

You've either done a "test" for the roll bars, or manually disengaged the motor by pulling that lever. I'll look up the details tommorow but you may need a dealer visit to reset things. Had to pull the lever didn't you? Haha.
