| CAI Help For 96 328is Hey i found out that the best intake for my bmw is the AFE CIA, pumping out 9.3 hp to the wheels on my friends BMW! It's only a short ram intake but what if I added a custom pip or a aftermarket pip from the engine to the Ram intake? Is it even possible to buy good quality pips that are mandrell bent and polished to fit the AFE intake? And How much more hp if any do you think I will get if this can be done? I am estimating I can maybe get 2 hp max, because it will have better air flow if the pip is added with larger diamiter over the stock rubber pip. |

| i would stick to the short ram if its giving you that much hp adding the extra piping just might cause turbulance and you might end-up loosing hp and if you do gain any it will probably be minimal. plus then you have to worry about rain and puddles. a.s.c.= automatic stability control |
