| you should not need to do any camber adjustments in the rear if you are not tracking your car, the rear camber does not change a great deal, and is no where near bad enough to get it changed if you dont want/need to, as for camber adjustments you can use the factory camber arms, there is some amoung of adjustment with them, or you can get aftermarket ones, Turner motorsports, rouge engineering, uuc, and ground control all make adjustable rear camber arms that are of very good quality. what i did was get a 4 wheel alignment done and a respected shop and i hit the streets. my car went down 2.5 inch (65mm) front and 2 inch (about 50mm) in the rear H&R cup kit

| All i have to say is that i recently replaced one of my lower rear control arms and it was not a fun experience. The bolt holding the control arm in place by the diff. has virtually no clearance to remove. I had to loosen some bushings and pry up on the diff. to create enough room to remove the bolt. not a lot of fun especially for a part so poorly made. If u can find a heavy duty lower control arm, spend the money to get it because those oem arms are very weak. I would look into Turner motorsports, or bimmerworld or bavauto for the lower rear control arm although like i stated earlier oem replacements are pathetic, mine cost est. $70 Last edited by 5_speed325 : 01-09-2006 at 09:12 PM. |

The LCA are weak for a reason, they are meant to bend/break before you damage the subframe. Its by design, not a cheap part. The install is very easy, undo the 3 bolts that old the diff, then shift it around.

| you can rienforce the stock ones with 18 gauge sheet metal and some welding, they'll be stronger but less likely to bend until they need to. and it's legal for bmwcca stock and preppared classes. |

| How do you adjust the front camber if you need to?
