| Has anyone else noticed BMW really screwed up when they designed the E36 sport seats. The E36 M3 vader and E36 M3 sport seat (M3 Lux, cabrio, some coupes) are really not that different. In fact, the Lux seat actually has more lateral support! The Vader has a better base and headrest, but the lateral support sucks! So basically the sportiest seat is a Vader base, a Lux middle, and a Vader headrest. How do I know this? I was able to compare the Vader and sport/lux seats side by side yesterday. I hopped from one car to the next and quickly became pissed. I could have saved $200-$400 by just installing plain old E36 sport/lux seats in my E30 and adding the Vader headrests, rather then adding the Vaders. I also would have gotten better lateral support (which I really miss because the E30 seats provide great lateral support but crappy lower back support and ass support). Anyone else notice this?

| Actually, I would have to disagree. The vaders in my M3 give way more support IMO than the regular seats in the M3/4s. (Yes, I have been in them) I don't know why you would say that, but from my experience the Vaders feel superior in all aspects. Last edited by RightM3 : 11-06-2001 at 10:38 PM. |

| ur sooo wrong 1st thing.... everyone's body is different everyone is comftorble in a different way... if ur ass is too large for the sport seats... don't say that they are shitty.... im very happy with my vaders, but why would u wanna mix-match the seat parts??? and creater something ugly??!?!?!?

| "... if ur ass is too large for the sport seats... don't say that they are shitt" Not my ass, my stomach. And it's not to large, it's too small. The Vaders fit me fine in the ass, lower back, and high shoulder. However, the sides to not give me any support. I must be too skinny or something because they don't hold me in the corners at all. Oh well... All I'm saying is that the regular sport seats have sides that are more constricting then the Vaders, and it doesn't make since that BMW would give the agresive seat sides less constricting then the regular seat. ![]()
