it can't hurt, i used to have a ground kit plus manger for my dad's 04 STI but its Japanese but i do think BMW does a good job on all the grounds from my knowledge that is. but they won't hurt i think. just make sure the kit has good insulated wiring for the job

Optima redtop and a 140 amp stock replacement alternator is a ll u need.

ya just change ur alternator and ull b sweet, the dimming lights can come from 2 factors 1 ur alternator overdrawing with having 2 run ur subs or 2 the reflctive silver stuff in the back of he headlight unit (like when u look at it, it looks silver in the day time) is starting to fade as mine has done that, the grounding kits r a waste of time and money, mate bought 1 not 2 long ago made no difference wats so ever, his went in2 a r33 skyline so ya really pointless i reacon.
