Pinstripes on my E36...leave on? take off?

My car(Arctic Silver w/ dove int.) came with vinyl pinstripes(Dark Silver/Grey) and are located about an inch, give or take a few cenimeters, above the body lines of my E36 coupe. Should I remove them or leave em on, they look fine on as whoever did them, did a pretty good job of it and there are no cuts or missing pieces in them, but i've heard that a lot of people dont like them on bimmers. What do you guys think, leave on(since the colors kinda go and its done pretty good) or take off b/c it looks fucked up any way you put it...?

Mine had stipes on it, pulled them off and not planning on putting any back on.

Take them off, I had them on my e30 and it looked so much better without them.

I took 'em off today, then buffed the car afterwards and all the glue/residue came off. I must say it looks a hell of a lot better w/o them on, you guys are right!

my car had been sitting in the sun all day, heating up, so when I went to take them off, they very easily peeled off with only a few breaks here and there. I just used my fingernail to get em started and from there, slowly pulled them off. Glue residue was left behind after the removal, and that too was very easily removed, could have been done using ur fingernail or a wet towel w/ some force, but I just used a buffer to buff it off, it took about 5 min to take off the stripes and about 1 min to get rid of glue.

My car is silver and the stripes seemed to have been put on within the last few years or less, therefore no indication of staining or fading where the stripes were, so I was lucky
