| It's pretty easy, but I've never done a write up on it.
You may need a pickle fork to split the ball joint on the steering arm. You'll also need a thinned wrench (32mm maybe...) to get to the inner nut on the tie rod.
First you get the car up in the air.
Remove the rubber boot around the tie rod end.
Bend back the tab over the nut.
Loosen the nut (just to make sure you can get it off!)
Then remove the ball joint nut and break free the ball joint. If the joint starts to spin you can use a clamp to hold the ball tight against the steering arm if need be.
Then remove the inner threaded part and swap in the new one. You may need to use the same clamp method to tighten the new ball joint.
